President Project
Take ownership of your grade and your project! Your project must include the president's "basic" information as listed below. In addition, you may choose a creative platform to share your project with the class.
Information due Friday, June 8
Presentations to be held Mon., June 11 - Wed., June 13
BASIC INFORMATION to include in your project:
1.) Choose a president and have your choice approved by Ms. Scheppers
2.) Research your president by going to POTUS and searching your president.
3.) Include all basic presidential information on your president:
- Full name and Nickname
- Born/Died - date and place
- Wife and Children - Names only
- Education
- Occupation before President
- # President and how long he served as President
- Other Government Positions (if any)
- Notable Events as President - at least 3
- Notable Events MUST be explained i.e. their important, significance, why they are
"notable"
Project Options: Choose one or create one of your own!
- Write a report
- Oral report
- Compile a scrapbook
- Put on a demonstration
- Set up an experiment
- Produce a short movie (7-10 minutes)
- Develop an interactive computer presentation i.e. powerpoint
- Create a series of sketches, diagrams, a timeline or graphic organizer
- Do a photo essay
- Build a model
- Do a statistical chart
- Design a mural
- Write and perform a song
- Other - must be approved by Ms. Scheppers ahead of time
